I went out last Thursday morning in the fog and found some nice spider webs. My depth of field could be little deeper. Your comments are always welcome.

Webs are always cool in my opinion. As you said a little more depth of field would be nice but still a good shot. I don't like to manipulate my photo's by post processing but somthing I've done with RAW conversion with some webs is to darken the BG by adjusting the contrast. This for me really made the web pop out more. Just a thought and somthing to experiment with. :toast:

Great shot, Matthew! I really like your comp. here. Indeed a bit more DOF would have been nice and a darker BG makes the drops pop out a bit more. :toast:

Nice strings of pearls here. As other has mentioned, a darker BG would also help. Great capture just the same. Well done :toast:

I agree with the others on wanting to see a darker BG to make the drops stand out. I think more DOF would actualy work against you here because of the potential for more BG detail, distracting from the droplets / web.
