Nikon D300, Nikkor 17-55 2.8 @50mm. F/10, 1/10sec, ISO 200.
The leaves add to the fine details of the ice. Comments appreciated.

Albert,
This is very, very appealing. I think a tighter shot or crop might be even stronger.
Thanks for posting.

Great light and contrast Albert. I like when ice starts to form like this. Some nice patterns in the making.

This is interesting. I think, like Chris, I'd go for a tighter crop. The leaves in the center that are on top of the ice rather than immersed in it are the most interesting.

I want to reach down and tap on the ice. Nice shot.

I like the idea of a tighter comp as well. I do enjoy the patterns in the ice and leaves sprinkled throughout the scene.

Very well seen, Albert. Nice interaction of the warm leaves with the cold water/ice.

Albert,
I definitely like the interaction/combination of the leaves in and on top of the ice. I would agree with others about a tighter crop. For me, there is a difference two in the reflected light, simply because the angle changes from one side to the other, but I prefer the right side, not only for the leaves, but there is less glare and the color is deeper. I might go for a crop somewhere just left of center - a personal choice of course.
