Autumn Memories

Even though winter has not arrived yet according to the calendar, as the season's first snow is falling quite heavily outside my window this afternoon, I'm pleasantly recalling my autumn photo excursion to Zion and still just really beginning to work through my images from the trip. This is from a beautiful little meadow in Zion Canyon near the Big Bend area across the river from the road.

Very nice, Jim. Reminded me of a Guy Tal image when it first popped up. I really like this perspective, and the fallen leaves create a wonderful canvas.

The carpet of leaves is nice and the trunks angled in different directions make this unique.

Love the perspective Jim, how the angle of the trees play against the the beautiful carpet of leaves. Nicely done.

Jim,

A great perspective with the trunks radiating out from the center. So many times a blanket of leaves like this would lose much of it's detail, but I like that there is a variety of colors like greens and red among all the warm autumn colors. Well seen and captured.

Very nice Jim. The carpet of leaves really makes me wish I was walking through the woods.
