A beautiful seascape, Richard. The FG detail down to the smallest white shells or rocks is excellent. The dramatic and very colorful sky provides a wonderful backdrop to the entire scene.

Beautiful!!! :toast:

Love the water flow in the foreground, the wave coming in in the middle ground, and the great color and lighting. Looks awesome! I might be tempted to do a slight dodge in the left upper corner (sky and sea area) to lighten the tones slightly there so the eye does not get pulled that direction.

Love the shape and form of those rocks. The water exposure looks just right. Real nice comp and light.

Richard, very nice rendition of the Blowing Rocks area. Been there many times and this is a fine representation of the beauty of the place. Nice work.

Hi Richard,
Very nice sky and the silkiness of the water and how the eye is drawn up the gap in the rocks is wonderful too! Very nicely done!

Reed, I failed to mention that this is a manual blend of two exposures. Thanks.

Beautiful exposure, I like how the incoming wave fits into the gap between the rocky middleground.

Beautiful colors in this one. It is rare to see this type of coastal foreground in FL but it appears you found one of the few places! Nice work.

Simply Gorgeous Richard - a fantastic seascape. And like others, wouldn't have guessed Florida. But I guess they have rock down there too.

The open channel works wonderfully to allow the viewer to move through the rocky surf out in to the sea and to pick up that fantastic sky.

I love the surf rushing around the rocks and I really like the color too, despite the purplish tint. It all just works beautifully together.

Excellent, Richard. Your command of the light here is exceptional. No grad means some really expert focus blending.

Absolutely gorgeous image Richard. Fantastic composition and masterful exposure control. My only nit is the purple tones in the silky surf. It feels like it should be a little bit desaturated to match the area of water in the mid foreground. Minor detail though!

Dang, same trip down? I would be very happy to have this in the files. I might darken the bright water far left, catches the eye just a touch. The workshop went great, talk to you soon.

Excellently processed and composed image, Richard. Besides the great colors and sweet rocks, I think the water motion really makes this sing, as it helps to tie the whole scene together. Really a fantastic image. :toast:
