After taking time away from NPN to finish my degree, I just rejoined in August. So my repertoire of previously posted favs is limited. So... here is one of my favs that I have not previously posted. From my flower garden this past summer. Did a slight crop from the right.
Canon 50D
Canon 100-400mm

Not a view that is commonly photographed, Kathy . While better isolation might have helped here, I really really liked the dew drops in the center :wavey:

These are extremely hard to photograph...you've done a fabulous job. I also like the dew drops in the center! :toast:

Kathy: I love day lilies. We have many varieties in our garden that make our spring a delightful time. You have a really nice capture here. Its a bit soft in presentation and some more aggressive sharpening brings out the details in the petals and anthers nicely. It is great to have you back aboard.>=))>

Nice capture Kathy. A small shift in camera angle to a more frontal view would have brought the very tip of the pistel within the frame of the flower an created a bit more separation of the one steman from the edge of the petal. But this is a minor, minor nit. Kind of like in portraiture where you don't want to break the cheek line with the tip of a nose (keep the tip of the nose within the plane of the face). :toast:

You're from GR, we're practically neighbors.
