Another of my favorites from this year. I really like the order and symmetry of the points on this bloom.

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking,

Morris

I remember this, Morris. Very pretty with the in and out of focus areas playing magic on the eyes. Reminds me of one of those Mandalas.

I believe I missed this one Morris. Extraordinary subject with complimentary background. Love the symmetry and colors. :toast:

This is wonderful, Morris. I don't remember this one so I'm glad you posted it again. Love the symmetry and the square comp is perfect for this. Great bg too.

This is really fine Morris. Love the symmetry and the way you've emphasized it with dof and the square crop. Beautiful work.

Nice to see this again, Morris. The dof is what makes this special for me - absolutely perfect, allowing the bloom to float free in the frame.

Sweet capture Morris. Can see an alternative post of this more tightly cropped. Not sure a full frame crop would work unless you really played in PS. In this capture nice separation of in focus subject going semi soft to a muted complementary bg. :toast:

I like the choice of dof for this portrait, Morris. It adds something special, as if you ortonized it, only better (imho, since I'm the wildest fan of orton technique...). Great bg to harmonize with the subject and set it off nicely as well.
