No epic journey to get to this spot, just a pretty little stream down the road from my house, photographed one Saturday morning while listening to Car Talk on the way to do the recycling. Love to hear your thoughts on this, I'm sort of on the fence about.

Love the warm toning. Adds a nice glow to it. Really an excellent winter image to me. I always love the snow covered rocks and the little bit of forest you can peak into is great as well.

Gorgeous. The textures in both the water and the snow make this an incredibly strong image.

The creek and the snow look like a watercolor painting. Very creamy and a great look Kurt. Nice work!

Beautiful comp, Kurt. Really nice winter scene. This has a bit of an "off white" tone to it, which I might prefer to whiten up just a bit, but I am guessing you picked this look on purpose. In any event, very nice scene.

Great winter scene! Lots going on, lots to look at, but not "messy" at all. Love how the light dances with the mounds of snow. The stream is so good- very nice shutter speed choice for the water flow; the margins of ice along the edges is just cool. :toast:

This is great Kurt. The texture of the water and the curve of the stream make it really beautiful. I also listen to Click and Clack when I remember to turn NPR on during the weekends ;)

This is great. This image has a lot of depth, and the FG water texture is really nice. The trees in the BG also add a lot of interest for me.

I think it looks really good. That's a wonderful place and the curvy composition works very well. My only nit would be the sepia toning. I'm not a huge fan of it to begin with, but especially in winter scenes I always prefer a colder toning.

Great textures and it looks bone chillingly cold despite the warm tones of the snow.

The soft light on the rounded shapes of the snow covered boulders is something very special and the conversion really enhances that. The composition is perfect. Stunning, Kurt!

Pretty sure I'm a fan. Needs some web sharpening for sure but the comp and processing seem solid. I might try and tone down the blown out?/super hot sections and push the levels up a tad esp on the bottom right areas and similar. Man I love car talk...miss it out here where I live
