While I had several images to choose from as my "personal" favorites, I think this image must be the one. I kept my eye on this spot for nearly a year before I felt the time and light were right to shoot one Sunday morning, doing a vertical and horizontal.
This is just off a local road, but I've had so many people who've lived near all their lives tell me they drive past it every day yet have never seen it. Numerour artists have asked me for permission to paint their interpretations... and printed large on William Turner Fine Art paper, it truly does look like a painting already.
Here's the kicker... this particular version has no Photoshopping done to it, not even minor color or contrast enhancing--only a minor, minor crop from the top. To me, it best speaks of my photography... capturing things others don't see, presenting it in its natural state, and sharing it with others for their enjoyment. Thank you for looking, and the larger image shows a bit more detail...

9 commentsI hate to suggest even cropping one iota of this image; however, I think if you were to turn this into a square format, cropping just above the FG flowers, you would lower the bridge and enhance the attention on your subject.
Better still get that farmer to mow his land again and go back and shoot some more. An awesome scene.
Both photos beautiful examples of landscape photography.
Keep shooting, please.
Cheers,
