Patoka Lake

On a spur of the moment yesterday I drove to Patoka Lake near Tell City, Indiana and had a pretty decent hour of shots. Out of 45 photos, I picked out at least 10 that I really, really liked and felt proud of. This is one of them. I did some tweaking in PSP, cropped it a bit and lightened the shadows, and brought up the saturation level. Yes that little white puffy streak in the middle of the sky is a bit annoying but I am still working on getting rid of it without messing up the photo.
I used my Sony a100, focal length was 18.0mm, Exposure time was 1/60sec and f-stop was 6.3 and ISO was 100
I had it on landscape mode if any are curious, also it was around 20 degrees and very windy, the sun was also going down pretty fast, otherwise I would've spent longer than an hour and tried to have walked around the whole lake (yeah right, that would've taken all day). Anyways, tell me what you think.

Andrea, you did catch a little color in the clouds, very nice. Your not far from me, I'm just across the river in Owensboro. :wavey: Happy New Year! Ron

So I'm not the only one who lives around here? Awesome, I'd rather live somewhere in the mountains rather than here, but it isn't bad. :wavey:

I like the mountains you guys but I'm an Okie and I still miss the thunderstorms and sky in the Midwest. I like this image. Nice color and the white streak isn't a problem as far as I'm concerned. The shoreline looks like it needs a touch of CCW rotation but it may just be me. Good looking image IMO.

Thanks so much for your comments, someday I plan on visiting the Rockies, but it won't be anytime soon I think. I love the clouds that look like cotton candy too.
