Have you ever seen the snow-covered Alps as a backdrop for the Venice skyline? I guess you haven't... yet!
I took this picture from the Lido about 30 minutes after sunrise on a cold and windy morning at the beginning of December.
Details: Eos 50D, Canon EF 70-300, tripod. Stitch of 7 verticals (the uncompressed tiff file of this is about 380 MB!!)
Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time.
P.S.: because of the pano size, a click on the larger image is a must...
P.P.S.: sorry for not being around too much lately, it's been a busy period and haven't had much time for nature photography. I Will try to cover the gap soon, can't wait to get to the Alps for some good winter shot, but here in northern Italy we're still waiting for some true cold and some serious snow, this year. I'm doing my snow-dance every day, if you want to join me in my propitiatory rite I will be grateful for ages...
