I took this about a year ago on a cold, still evening at Mono Lake.

I love the reflected color & rocks. I wouldn't change a thing. The snow in the fg is also a nice touch.

Congrats! :toast:

What delightful conditions Rudy, and a wonderful artistic composition. The rock in the LLC on the edge bothers me a little, but I'm probably in the minority.

Different than most Mono shots I have seen. I like the mottled look of snow and rock.

What beautiful light, and I love the comp with the distant tufa centered.

Familiar scene, but i like what youve done with it--great mix of elements and fg/bg.

Great depth with the strong near to far perspective and of course gorgeous color. Well done.

Wow! Very cool . . . one of the better Mono Lake shots I've seen in a while.

Rudy,

Killer image from Mono Lake! I like the foreground interest here, but that sky, tufa and reflection are gorgeous. I'm guessing and hoping that after you worked this that you moved forward and just got that reflection? No matter if you did or didn't, this one is beautiful.

Rudy, I love the bands of color surrounding the pirate ship there. That rock in the lower left balances out the composition since the pirate ship is almost centered. Nice work
