Hi guys

Thanks for all your comments to last post, I'll try to built in your suggestions

This time I post one of my favourite places of Iceland, the svartifoss waterfall, rounded by those basalt pilars. I spent 30 minutes going around the fall, looking for the best posible view and I've to say that the lateral vision with all those green fallen rocks is the preferred one.

RAW image, ISO 100, Focal lenght 17 mm, f/16, 5D, EF 17-40 f/4L USM, Polarizer, Tripod

I like the image very much with the FG shapes and forms, the colors, and,of
course, the falls. Well done, Roberto.

Very pretty Roberto. I think this is composed very nicely, and I really like the moss/grass covered rocks.

This is a dream waterfall. Love how the background rocks compliment the direction of the waterfall.

I like the choice of composition; this is very pleasant. My only suggestion would be to consider darkening the upper right side a bit so that it does not stand out as much. I think that might also help accentuate the falls.

Very Cool Image. I would go the opposite route that Phil suuggested and lighten the top left to better match the highlight tones of the rest of the rocks. Minor thing, though, overall an interesting and captivating photograph.

Roberto,

Excellent! A somewhat unique view, yet very strong and nicely composed. I really like the colors and arrangement with the rocks up front. No nits from me, but if I had a suggestion, rather than burning the UR, I would actually dodge the UL. But only a minor suggestion/tweak.

On a side note, I may or may not have mentioned this before, but I would encourage you to post some comments on other people's work. You have been posting some very fine work and I believe you could add a lot and help many folks who are looking to improve their photography. I know everyone appreciates the comments they receive. Thanks!

Svartifoss, Iceland is a great place. There are several good vantage points all around the waterfall. I would prefer less dark pillars behind the falls. Lovely colours and tone within the image though.

Though the composition feels a little generic, this still comes across as a pretty unique view of a waterfall because of the way the water enters the top of the image and how little of the pool at the bottom is included. The surroundings are stunning and featured well by this wide angle.

Wow! What a fantastic place and a great capture. Those strong vertical lines of the rock face with the soft water is wonderful
