This is the mate to my last post. She has a mollusk morsel on her chin (needs a napkin) and I like her relaxed pose here. I left in the "blob" reflection on the bottom...do you think I should clone it out?

Nice that you got the mate to the handsome male last posted. Once again the reflection makes this one stand out. I would ask for a touch more room on top and you could (if you wanted ), remove the blob at the bottom of the frame Sharon :toast:

Sharon,

I like this image a lot as it is posted, though adding a little room over the duck's head might make the composition stronger. Personally I like the extras blob of the reflection and would leave it in the image if this were mine.

The duck's soft hues look great against this water and I like how her head is turned, the light, sharpness and details. The mollusk makes the image even more interesting.

A fine image as presented.

The detail looks really great all over the duck in this one, Sharon. The distorted reflection is a bit strange. Somehow I prefer an undistorted one or one which is so distorted that the reflection is barely identifiable as a duck. The trouble with the blob is that it distracts the viewer from the duck: I start to wonder what the blob could be rather than appreciating the rest of the image. I'd remove it unless the audience knows what it is. Personal preferences aside, there is no question that this is a very fine image: sharpness, color, look of the water are all great. :toast:

Sharon, this one is just as nice as the other--and at 180mm?! well done. The blob reflection is fine with me, I think it is just another reflection of the head. I do agree that a little more space on top would be good, but it doesn't need much. I like this image a lot. :toast:

A fine presentation of the female Sharon. I esp like the water color and reflection. My only nit would be wanting more room up top. If it were mine, I wouldn't clone the blob. I might slightly wish it weren't there but it is and I'd feel better about the image if I hadn't cloned. Just me though....

A beautiful image! I would leave the blob alone and agree about a little more space on top.
