Thisis a backwater of the river Danube near of my village. The egrets sometimes there are, as that early morning were. I stalked them, and could take a shot.
450D + 70-200 mm f/4L
ISO 200, 1/250, f/11.

Love the hues. Beautiful comp as well. The branches on the right are a small nit, just a little bit distracting perhaps, but I think that cropping them out would lose something in the balance and sense of movement in the shot. Overall, a very nice image.

Very nice image, I like the misty quality of the scene. Birds are nicely exposed.

Nice light, Lajos. Are these really that blue or is this an artifact of the low light?

Hello Sam! Those light are really blue, because of the reflection of the "upper" sky. I was amused when I beheld these on my monitor, but it seems, this is the reality. I guess, these effect is stronger by a bit of underexposure of the wings, too.
