Marina Sunset

This was taken up in Blaine Washington last Saturday. I blended 2 exposures using Enblend/Enfuse inside Lightroom. Shot taken from the boat dock, surprisingly no movement in the picture considering the 2 to 8 second exposure. Your comments are always welcome. Thanks for taking a look.

Looks good, Matthew. It has a very calm and natural appearance.
I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more contrast in the sky on the left side to give more definition to the different clouds layers and colours. I think that that would also give the composition a little more balance, since right now most of the interest is on the right half of the photo. In fact, a square crop of the right side could also work well.

Lovely light. There's a bit of unnatural looking magenta in the water on the left.

It's interesting that Kenn said most of the interest is on the right half of the photo, while I feel that it's pretty evenly balanced. Yes, there's more "things" on the right, but the color that pulls you in is on the left. Nicely done; I like it. Haven't been through Blaine in 25 years.....

This scene reminds me why I love being a native of Western WA. Lucky, huh!

Love the comp and the lower angle perspective. Color is sensational. Nothing like a sky full of masts, especially with that color behind 'em. The expanse of water coming as it does to a vanishing point highlights that it is the marina waterway. Love this. Nicely done technically and artistically, I think.

Thank you everyone for your comments. I just got home. Now that I see this shot on my monitor I see the magenta that Kah Kit commented on. I will need to take a look at this image again. The monitor on the laptop presents things a bit different...
