Went to Harmonie State Park and saw this sign. I'd heed it even in summer time, but during this season I'd really pay attention to these signs.

Don't know what the reason is for the sign in the summer - maybe health reasons? safety?
But at this time of the year, the little lake looks just right for the Polar Bear club - or whatever those clubs are where folks take refreshing dips in ice cold water.
A funny juxtaposition though!

That isn't a lake, that's the Wabash River this probably isn't cold enough for those clubs, but I liked this picture and thought the cold made it a little more interesting.

A somewhat throught provoking image. Aesthetically I would have liked the sign not to merge with the tree on the left.

Yes, having a healthy respect for rivers and their sometimes inconspicuous currents, I'd heed the sign any time of the year. A good reminder. Brrrr!
