I wanted to contribute to this fine category on NPN. I posted a horizontal version over at ess and thought the cross country ski tracks were suited over here. The light was constantly different and this version has my preference over the one on ess.

Thanks for your time and comments

Looks like the Ice Queen will show at any moment. Or Aslan. Ethereal, as Eva put it.

The light here is just magnificent. Feels like it's inviting me in to explore and find out what hides beyond the misty veil. Beautiful image.

I certainly agree - the path at the bottom adds balance to the scene, and the light is just incredible.

Your processing workflow is remarkable.

A wonderful foggy winter pathway, and I like the soft filtered light of this capture.

Can I ask what technique, or what filter, you used for photoprocessing? It is OK if it's your trade secret - I am asking in case you don't mind sharing...

Your handling of the light here is masterful. The comp is excellent as well. A beautiful addition to the one on ESS.

Anthony, I have looked at this photo several times now. The composition, colors and overall effect of your processing is just wonderful. I much prefer this one over the one in ESS.

Ethereal warm light drifting dreamily through an icy scene. Magnificent looking image. For all that cannot be seen here, I feel beckoned to ski in and explore.
