This is Delicate Arch, one of the many amazing photographic features of Arches National Park, Utah. There is a three mile round trip hike over sandstone slick-rock to this 70ft. monument; but well worth it..

Very well composed, Richard. I'm wondering if shooting it earleir or
later in the day would have given you better light. Nevertheless, well
done.

Although the light is a tad strong here, you used the shadows nicely to accentuate the position of the arch itself.

Well composed from one of the more popular positions on Delicate Arch. I've been there only once in very early light, and I think you did well considering the conditions. If you happen to go again, it might be worthwhile trying different angles on this icon, considering the light conditions and time of day.

Really well composed and quite a different view from what I'm used to seeing here. I think some additional post-processing could make this one outstanding. A little more contrast & saturation throughout wouldn't hurt. Maybe darken the sky a touch and pump up the whites in the clouds so they stand out more boldly against the blue sky. These are all very personal suggestions, of course. Overall, this is quite nice!

This has a bit of a "postcard" look to me, and maybe an older postcard at that. There's a bit of film nostalgia in the way it looks. The comp is real nice.

The comp is ok, and i think the technical details here are very good: good sharpening, good exposure and colors look spot on. For me, the best part of DA is the view of the La Sals in the back, which is obscured here by the clouds, so that kind of diminishes the view for me.
Ive seen a million photos of DA, and this doesnt particularly stand out from the crowd, but if your goal is simply to get a nice shot of the arch--then you succeeded!
