Blue Mesa Reflection

Hi everyone,
Hope you all are having a great winter. I know I am! The more it snows, the happier I am lol.
Here is a shot from a recent outing to the Blue Mesa Reservoir in Colorado. It was a beautiful day, and the ice on the lake had melted just enough to allow for this beautiful reflection.
I have another version of this posted on the RMNP forum. Not sure which one I like better. Any C&C is well-appreciated.
Thanks in advance, and happy winter shooting!

20 mm, f/16, 1/100, ISO 100, hand-held.

Lovely serene shot. Gotta lose the reeds bottom left though. Might be worth a bw try too

I like this comp better, but lose the intruding grass on the llc. Beautiful shot!

The reflection is great, the colors are great, but I would either include more grasses in the LL corner, or eliminate it totally.

Looks very good, especially for clear blue sky conditions. The grasses are a distraction.

I like the reflection, the crisp conditions, and the nice curve in the ice in the foreground. I have to agree about the grasses in the LLC, but that's an easy fix via cloning, cropping, or perhaps a bit of both.

This is great, Kelly, one of my favorite spots to stop for some photos, in fact my recent post 'alien ice thingies' was taken just off the right side of this photo. I know how tough it is to get a good comp here, and i think you did really well, using ther blue skies to your advantage. One nit--needs to be a tad sharper--would like to see the pinnacles nice and clear. :wavey:

I agree with Aaron - those beautiful deep blues would make a fantastic mono conversion (and lose the reeds!)
