Nikon D300, Nikkor 70-200 2.8 @70mm. F/6.3, 1/200, ISO 200.

I think this is one of my best shots taken during the ice storm. The form and light appeal to me, I hope the feelings are mutual. Comments appreciated.

I like your image, but think for me anyway it could have a touch more contrast.

Hey, Albert. I like the textures of the ice and the lines of the tree and limbs, maybe a touch brighter than it turned out here. This makes me feel even colder than I already did!

I like what you here and I'd like it even better if the snow were brighter.

It has a very nice concept, but for me the image lacks a strong foreground subject that would define the photo.

I can definitely see what interested you here. What's holding me back from really really digging this image is I have to put too much effort into seeing the trunk and main branches, which would help define it more and provide an anchor.

I find the left side stronger with the more repetitious foliage, and the trunk is a bit too centered for me. I think a 4x5 crop of the left side works well. I like the hints of warm ones poking through also. Looking through your portfolio I really like fallen trio and missed it at time of posting.

Beautiful details here, Albert!
In addition to the texture of the ice on the tree, I like the cold colors contrasted against the warm glow of the background. I do think it might be stronger if you cropped some off the right side. The light area in the center of the right edge draws my attention away from the tree.

A nice peek into the forest. Maybe overall it lacks a little bit of leading lines for the eyes to move around.

hi, albert. it must have been freezing to work here. nice details all around and I like the subtle light and colors. I feel if the main trunk were more in the right side of the image it would work better, I like the left side better. besides that, this works nicelly as is. fine comp.

Lovely scene Albert, and I especially like the detail throughout. Beautifully seen and presented.

Hey albert,
Morris makes a nice point on brightness, but other than that a nice frosty image.
