Located in Death Valley canon 5D MKii 100-400mm at 250mm f/10, iso100, 1/100 SS. I thought that the backlighting provided a good B&W. I look forward to critique

Ed, great lines here, and I like the muted tones.

The receding ridgelines give this scene a wonderful sense of depth, Ed. I also like the range of tones here. My only suggestion would be to crop off the OOF area in the LLC.

Lovely layers in this shot Ed. I also like the composition a lot.. how the layers gradually fade away is mesmerizing. No nits from me!

Another vote for the composition, and the subtle tones. The Point itself rises just enough above the horizon to make it work very nicely. I too would crop the LLH.

Nice layers and tones. All those lines and shapes. Very compelling image.

Really liking the open shadows. Gives it a very rustic old b/w feel. Bit of something oof very corner left but really diggin' the lines and comp. Well done sir

Beautiful composition Ed, I find the lower lhc corner a bit distracting too. Other than that minor nit this is a very striking portrayal of a harsh environment. Nice one.

Thanks for the input. I was so busy trying to get all my pictures completed, that I didn't notice that hadn't cropped the LLC out of the picture. Thanks!
