Couldn't think of a title, so with the Super Bowl approaching and the two "trees" sticking up like goal posts...

That's the problem with trying to shoot this very nice little waterfall is that it is surrounded by trees and brush. There was no going down into the creek this time of year, as I've done in the past. This was taken on Tuesday a.m. following a lot of rain and snow melt. It flows down into a stream that flows from a PA State Fish Hatchery in Wayne County, PA. I took some shots of sections that weren't tree-impeded but chose to post this to get a full view of the fall. Shot on an overcast day at ISO80, 1/200th at f-4.0. Larger version posted, thanks for any C&C folks!

I would see this one as more of a documentary image because it's just too busy for me overall. But in that respect, you have nice capture of the place here. Looks very much like "my" gorge here just around the corner.

Hi Andreas, yes, if I'm taking your meaning of documentary image correctly, I think you are spot on. It's certainly not a "fine art" nature image, nor anything I would probably exhibit. Just kind of "here it is in its natural state" kind of thing. Thanks for looking!

There is too much going on here for my tastes, with no one strong feature. The falls are not that strong, and the snow cover is too sparse. maybe concentrating on one segment of the falls would help.
