Tufted Titmouse
by John Kerr
Here's a Tufted Titmouse that I photographed sitting on top of the bird feeder. I managed to get a few photographs of these birds in the trees and on the bushes which created a nice perch and composition but my focus was off just a hair so I chose this post instead. I will be the first to say I don't care for the perch and hopefully this weekend I will get the chance for added improvement.
AV Priority with tripod, 1/400 sec, F7.1, ex comp -1/3, ISO 100, Canon 70-300mm @300mm.
Large version added.
Thanks for looking and all C&C welcomed.

I love the raised crest and the look you seem to be getting from the titmouse. The bird stands out very nicely from the background.
