Cardinal in Snow

With the record snow here in Virginia, I was shooting some birds as they waited their turn at the feeders in nearby trees.

Nikon D300 1/250th F10 ISO 400 300mm F4 with 1.4 teleconverter with Better Beamer to illuminate the Magnolia.
Crop and process in Photoshop.

Nice bird. Looks as if you might have focused on the leaves and not the cardinal, becuase he is quite soft in relation to the leaves.
