Exposure looks great here Fred, nice colors, detail and sharpness of the heron's face.
Just a shame about the out of focus snow in the foreground. Otherwise, great!

An interesting shot Fred, the detail looks good in the heron. If it were mine I'd take some off the bottom to minimize the oof snow, maybe about 1 inch off the regular version.

You've got some catch light in the eye and lovely texture in the feathers. I think the snow in FG detracts a bit from the overall image.
