Continuing with my informal series on winter waterfowl in Tucson, I found this female Canvasback on some beautiful water last week. Isn't she a treat for the eye?

Thanks for looking and for your comments and suggestions.

A real beauty - if you give this a CW rotation to straighten it out you have a real winner.

Beautiful bird, perfect technique too. :toast: I agree that a bit of rotation might be in order.

OK, I started from scratch and did some rotation to level the bird. Is this better?

You're right Hans - beautiful water and wonderfully detailed. Pity you couldn't get down a little lower.

cheers

Hans,

I prefer the rotation on the repost.

I like the cool silkiness of the water and the duck's pose. Lovely look at her eye too.
