Just got a new macro lens, Sigma 150, and had to try it out on the blossoming Cherry trees in the neighborhood. I don't remember them blossoming this early before.

I think this is a great shot, Steve. I think it could use a little brightening in levels or curves.

Steve, this is a nice shot.
If you'd share your exif info, we could offer better suggestions.
Suggestions:
lighten the image. consider cloning out the black stuff in the lower left, and the partial, oof bud at the top right.
Have fun with the new lens - it's a nice one.

A wonderful image of cherry blossoms, and in February. My eye tends to go right over to the leaves on the right. When I hold my hand over them my eye then goes right to the center flower. Try it and see what you think, maybe a crop. I have seen the re-post. YES!
