HI Kumar,

This is an image where the thumbnail does NOT do it justice. I REALLY like the light in this shot, and it looks best on the largest version of the image. You've captured a very tender moment here and I have few nits about the image. Part of me wishes that the ocean in the background was thrown a LITTLE more out-of-focus, but I do like that all the rocks in foreground and background are in relatively sharp focus (and to lose the detail in the water you would have likely lost some of the key detail on the rocks). Always compromises!

Cheers...thanks for sharing this very touching shot...

A very touching image indeed Kumar. Mother-child interaction can make very strong images. I do think this would be even stronger though if at least part of the baby's face were visible, but I realize that was beyond your control.

Very nice feel to this shot but I agree with Vincent that it would be better with more of the babys' face showing.

Thank you so much for your valuable insights. You are absolutely right about the degree of visibility of the baby's face. But then, if subjects learned to pose, photography would not be as exciting, I guess.
