Found some nice frozen powder that the wind went to town on. I wasn't sure about the specks of light throughout, but after looking at it close up, I kind of like the star effects that were created (see below). Wonder if they're an issue with anyone else.

Canon 24-105mm

Love that patterns here Ron, really nice find. I know the specks are natural, but I do find the brighter specks a tad distracting. I might be tempted to clone them out. Just me.
Nice capture either way.

For me it´s not an issue at all, IMO even adds extra interest on this scene. Kind of complex patterns throughout, but enjoyable indeed. Well managed tones also. Good job Ron

It's hard to appreciate the specs in small resolution. So in the jpg I find it distracting. If it works in the print, keep 'em. Great image, otherwise!

I think the stars are a very good effect here. But my first impression was that I like the pattern as such a lot. The sparkling is the icing on the cake..

Totally awesome lines and shadows Ron, love it! I like the sparkles too, they are one of the fascinating aspects of snow... and you've caught enough of them to make it work.

Love the patterns here, but I'm not too fond of the blue.
This might be interesting as a B&W -
The specks do bug me a little, I'm afraid

The lines are totally awesome and the blue tone is great. About the specs I think the print is the final judge, hard to tell in the small JPG version how they will look in the print.

The specks are a defining element of the image imo. Terrific abstract, Ron!

The little star flares coming off of the highlights are cool, but probably need to be seen in a large format to be fully appreciated. Print it. HUGE! :toast:

Nice take on the snowy land. I like the specks of light. They seem to be floating above the scene, sort of constellation like.
