Junco in fog
by Ed Dubois
I'm taking a break from watching the olympics and came across this junco from last winter. It was a foggy, cold and damp day which gave a soft light and a wet look to branch this junco chose as a perch. I know this isn't as razor sharp as some of you prefer but I like the effect. Hope you do too.

Thanks for looking.

Though this isn't as sharp as most of your work I like it this way because of the foggy, damp feel to the image. I like the soft light and I especially like the setting. I might consider cropping some from the bottom if this were mine but that one lichen covered section of the branch is interesting too. So I am torn about the comp.
I like the effect too. With the wonderful perch and nice BG, the bird need not be razor sharp to have a beautiful image.
