This is another take on the driftwood photo I posted earlier in the week. This one has an entirely different effect and the title was unavoidable for an old space program fan!

Thanks for any comments in advance.

Jim, I like this--an unusual and very interesting shot.

Very cool lines and quite a dynamic feeling image Jim. I really like this. I might be tempted to lighten it up just a tad.

I really like this one a lot Jim, the lines in the water are quite dynamic--to the point if I stare at it too long, I get the sense of motion and dizziness! Really quite sharp. :toast:

Great shot. A sense of movement, as your title suggests, is very strong.
Contrast makes the photo.

Very cool, Jim. I love the strong diagonal lines and the sense of tension from the pull of the stem on the water.

Jim,

This is fantastic and wonderful. I love the line of the shot going diagonal left to top right. The branch looks great within the scene.

I like it. I particularly like how sharp the branch looks in relation to what looks like fairly considerable water flow. No nits here, nice work!

beautiful! This works for ne in so many ways. I love the tension created between the amazingly sharp twigs and the flowing water...I love the contrast between the dark branches and light water, I love how the branches point in the direction of the flowing water...very nice all around

I second everyone's comments! I think what takes this image a notch above is what you hinted at with your title: the point of connection between branch and water subtle captures the force of that meeting.
