The title just came to mind as this reminded of a shot of the earth's weather patterns... or a wave. Anyway, this abstract is me standing about 20 feet directly above this piece of partially frozen stream. It was in the shadows, but I liked the lines and swirls and foamy look to find it interesting. Should have played w/ the exposure a bit more, but my hands and face were frozen by this point. ISO-80, 1/250th, f-4.0... a bit of lightening and sharpening, thanks for any C&C!!

I would have never figured out what it was, or even figured out it was a photograph for that matter. I don't know what else to say. I can't find any connection to this one Bill. Sorry. Maybe being there yourself you're seeing something others might not.

I appreciate the feedback Marc, not really sure how to answer it. My "connection" is simply the lines/rings, waves, curls and colors... or things that attract us to taking any photo I guess. I see it definitely can use more sharpening and it looks dark and somewhat dreary on here... but I'd shoot it again hopefully w/ a better end product for the web.
