This wouldn't be from the deck of the Yorktown, would it? Odd color on the pelican. Probably the reflection of sunlight.

This was from the James Island side. The light was a little harsh and it shows on the plumage.

Dan, I've come back to look at your photo several times. I really like the background and think you have it just the right amount of out-of-focus (at least for me). I just wish the bird were a little higher in the sky and to the left of the middle steeple. Since you live so close to this spot, I think it's worth trying this again.
