Made a weekend trip to the mountains last week. Got some birds at one of my favorite spots. The birds came to drink at a stream early mornings and evenings.

Satie, this is a great shot. I love the use of flash here. If you did not indicate using flash I would not have guess any was used, and to me that is perfect use of flash. The colors are so rich. The bird is sharp with a great head turn and the diag. perch adds nice texture. Finally, the BG tops it off. Very well done.
