looks like this place has a lot of potential. I like you´re framing. Chad, I´m not too sure about you´re hdr processing here, there are some colors that look quite radioactive and besides that it looks like you got some "ghost trees" specially on the right of the comp. how many images did you use for the hdr? best regards,

I like the comp, Chad, but tend to agree w/ Bruno. I think if you toned down the highlights and played a bit with the midtones it would help alot.

I also agree with the above. If this was a multiple-exposure HDR, I'd be looking to use an underexposed shot more to help really tone down the sky's highlights, especially that patch in the upper middle, with a darker blue/or grey color rather than the washed-out white which distracts from an otherwise interestingly composed shot.

Nice framing of the falls. Much of this feels a bit over-exposed to me.

I really like the brightness of this. This is what makes this unique to me and life to the scene. Great comp too.

I agree that the sky is distracting. Even at my darkest exposure of -2 EV, the sky was bright white. I forgot to check my pics in the field. Something I won't forget to do in the future (hopefully). Thanks for all the comments. This is a 5 bracket exposure of -2, -1, 0, +1, +2 EV.

Overall I like the comp; the framing and backlit trees add a lot to the scene. If you can nail the sky the next time around I think you'll have a real winner. I might also consider a slight shift to the left if at all possible so the dead trunk on the right is not in the scene.
