I drive past this old truck all the time. It's fascinating how the area around it changes through the seasons. I have to stay on one of the two roads, and I sure have gotten funny looks from people who drive past. I guess they don't think it's worth a second look. I think it's a really neat old truck!

I love it Anne! Well worth shooting in my book! You could show us several with the different seasons and I would love it.

The elements that make this so good IMO are the truck (of course), the light on the grass, the light on the BG, and the wildflowers throughout to add some color. Way nice!

Wow Anne! What a find! This is my favorite generation of trucks, and I would be torn between photographing it and trying to buy it. Superb exposure and framing.

Do I detect a little fall color in the grass? :frown:

I immediately thought of the construction of the Alaskan highway when I saw this shot. I find it amazing the windshields are still (mostly) intact. A nice relic of the past put into pasture.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Yeah, Nathan, I think I'll try to remember exactly where I stood and take more pictures of this through the year. I love that spotlight!!!
Hank, the people that own it are old-time homesteaders; I don't know if they'd sell it or not!

Photographers seem to be fascinated by old trucks. Usually the pictures are are more close-up. I like the way put the bright yellow grasses in the fore.
