Independence, Texas

Went on my first flower hunt of the spring and started at one of my regular haunts in Washington County. I was isolating flowers with my long lens when this little girl hopped up in the back of the old pickup for her parents. They were pretty far away with 60-70 yards of wildflowers between us. They took off before I could go around and approach them to offer this image. This was the only shot I got of her by herself as the adults kept popping into the frame and they were not photogenic. I've shot this locale for several years and this is one of my favorites already. All comments welcome.>=))>

Great "country life-style" scene, Bill, flowers, truck, girl, metal roof, it's all working :toast:

Really like the composition, and the little girl really tops it off. Love the truck, I may have cropped out a little more of the roof, but not a big distraction to me. Very nice!

This is just fantastic Bill. Fantastic timing and capture. This would probably look goods as B&W, or sepia, or anything! This is a "10" in my book.. SUPER! :jump:

This is a great shot. Plain and simple country living. Well done. I think this one would also work well as sepia or black and white

Great shot reminds me of my country upbringing. Some pictures just make you smile. This is one of them.

Great shot full of sentiment because of all the right elements of "down home" goodness.
