Into Perspective

This image was taken at my all time favorite place to be on the planet, Moraine Lake. I have a few images that I'd like to post here but I thought this should be the first one as it would give some perspective of just how massive and awe-inspiring the view really is. Thanks again for stopping by to take a look.

As always your thoughts and comments are welcome and appreciated.

Mark: I've only been there once but Moraine Lake is indeed an awesome place. I really like this perspective and comp and the people set the scale. Really well done.>=))>

Great shot Mark. I love Moraine Lake. I've got several shots from that place which is one of my favorties as well, but not done as well as this one. Good job.

Thanks for the comments all. I have had this image since last year and I've looked at it several times. Each time I haven't really been all that sure of how I felt about it.....kind of indifferent if you know what i mean. It wasn't until last week when I took a good long look at it and realized just how well this really does put some perspective in such an incredible view.

Beautiful place. Very nice image, I might have tried having the two people move to their lefts so the tree behind them is more in view, and IMHO they would not be as prominent as they are in the photo. But still, very nice just as it is. Thanks very much for sharing.

I like this, Mark. It sure does convey "awesome" and tantalizes the viewer for a good slideshow of your photos from the area. The turquoise color of the water and the scale of the mountains is incredible. I like the people in there, too for the sense of scale; just think they look a little orange...
