A beautiful shot Cheryl. I love the reflection and the subtle tones of the birds plumage and the water.
The only thing I would do here is add a little more usm to heron's head.

The splash of water adds a nice touch. I would even out the space above the bird and below the reflection.

I like this a lot and would like to see it with just a touch more contrast. Great reflection with the tail and water droplets creating the circle. Sharon

This is really an outstanding comp Cheryl. I love the low angle and the reflection. The water drops are a great bonus and the water colors add a ton to this image. I agree, maybe just a bit sharper on the head. Overall, a stunning shot. Now, where's the fish? I know, easier said than done. Keep after the prey shots, they will come. Most likely in clumps.

Beautiful capture, Cheryl. I really like how the tail and the beak hole the water surface all in one with the reflection. The droplets are a bonus. Congrats.

Cheryl,
This is easily one of my most favorite of your images thus far, the colors are gorgeous, the splashing water adds a lot of interest and I like how there is a shadow on the bill from one of the water droplets a lot. Also the nice view of the eye. Very appealing image as posted imho.

Neat action and reflection Cheryl, bumping up your iso and shutter speed probably would have helped improve the sharpness as the bird is moving fast here.

Very well done Cheryl. I especially like the symmetry provided by the bird, the five large water drops and the reflections of both. One of my favorite shots of yours.

Love the stop action with those large "stacked" water droplets near its head, cool. Great POV, reflection, & the sharpness/detail looks fine on my monitor.
Nice work!
