Nikon D300, Sigma 150. F/5.6, 1/125, ISO 200.

Years ago I bought some cornflower seeds from vermont wildflowers. Ever since then, I have planted cornflowers in my garden and cornflowers have been my favourite annual. I love the different tones of blue. Comments appreciated.

I really like this image, you're right the different blues are beautiful, dream like. I take is the back ground at the top is the sky with a slight hint of clouds?

Beautiful hues Albert and the sheen on the subject petals is very appealing. The darkness on the left and top is a nice counterpoint to the subject. Beautiful image.

Very nicely executed capture Albert. DOF fades fast, but to me I see an abstract, and the very shallow dof works.

Different shades of blue are awesome, Albert. Did you take any with horizontal framing? I think the subject matter might lend itself to a horizontal format. Just thinking out loud
