Lupine by the Lake

This was shot while driving from Anchorage to Homer Alaska. There was a huge field of Lupine on the edge of a small lake. I liked the OOF lupine on the left of the main subject, and that the water is almost the same color as the flowers. I don't like the fact that the lowest part of the flower is cut off. Does this ruin the photo for you? I'd love any comments or critiques! Thanks!

I like your comp here. The cut off stalk does not bother me. The most striking part of the image is the BG with an impressionist look. The OOF flower on the right is perfect but the one on the left is not out of focus enough and tends to draw the eyes away from the main subject.

Cam: The flower on the left is OOF enough for me and the rest of the comp is brilliant IMO. The BG is very complementary and intriguing. Well seen and captured.>=))>

I wouldn't mind seeing the OOF flower on the left a little more OOF, but it works as is. I think your chosen comp works well. Nice lighting & colors.
