Similar comp to my previous post, taken a few minutes later. Wondering what you all think about this one. Thanks for looking and appreciate any feedback/critique... thanks!

40mm, f/16, 1 sec, single exposure.

I just checked out the first post to compare. Interesting effect to have water color in the middle and little elsewhere. I'm a color fan so I prefer the prior, but the flow and comp in this work well.

I prefer the first one Will, this one is OK but personally I find the motion here a little too much.

The color in the sky definitely gives the previous image more of a "WOW" factor, but I'm really digging the sweeping foreground curve in this one... Maybe it would be a good B&W candidate?

I definitely enjoy the feel to this one, a bit surprised that 1 second was enough to produce the affect but it worked quite well.

Wow did the color dissapate that fast. The lines are really strong in this one but the other one is better in terms of color. Bet it was a fun time for you.
Great job

What a great moving image. Very moody with the dark clouds. Well done.

A dynamic swirl of a foreground here Will, you put the emphasis where it was needed.

I like the mood and the depth you creates here. The curvy lead-in works quite well. There a little thing that bothers me. The blurry foreground looks so monochromatic compared to the upper third. I might think about just to introduce a hint of coloring to that area to make this issue less obvious.

Thanks folks. I think the reason for the more monochrome foreground is that the water there is only a couple of inches deep with dark sand and rock below. Maybe? I'm not completely sure. I didn't fool with the colors in this one much at all. I did do quite a bit of dodging and burning in the foreground though. Perhaps I'll try a black and white version. Anyway, thanks for the feedback. It's always great to hear what others think. Helps gets me out the pigeonholed way of viewing some of my own images

I definitely prefer this one. I love everything about it. The bottom with the water trace curve is so dynamic and than you have that dark cloud blocking and framing the top. Beautiful :toast:

Fantastic motion and ominous work well for me. As for a comparison between the 2, I like the motion in this one better but I like the sky better in the first.

Very dynamic. Very nice shot.

Edge sharpening on the rocks a tad strong.
