Lake Louise Mornin Light

Lake Louise in Morning Light was one of the first images I recieve 200+ views on (maybe even +300 but that is all erased now) and ~+50 comments on. I was on vacation in the Canadian Rockies at the time (an outrageously beautiful place I might add) when I noticed the responses. At the time I thought, "Is it all about location since I was not doing anything different then I normally do in Maine or Nova Scotia. ...... but that is my opinion. Interested to hear yours.

This is gorgeous Eva, especially the large version! Such great texture and detail - especially along the distant shoreline trees, and among the rocks. Great job.

Eva,

I remember this one clearly and I also remember commenting how I thought this was a unique and fresh perspective from Lake Louise. I was there once as a 12 yr old kid - a trip that sparked my journey in to photography - so thanks for the memory!

I am so glad you posted this shot. Its probably my favorite of all of yours. Maybe you could include the horizontal version too...just for comparison sake. This is so wonderful. Thanks for sharing. Michael

Eva, this is my favorite photo from your collection. I think that subject matter (location) definitely has lot to do with it and your experience with your Canadian Rockies photos versus your Maine photos are proof of that. It's hard to beat the beauty of the Canadian Rockies and your photography skills certainly did them justice.
