Nice composition of slide rock - I really like the contrast with the red and white cliffs and how you positioned the falls in the frame. I've never seen this place with no people - did you phone in a bomb threat or just clone them out?

LOL!
It was barely after dawn, and - still - I had to clone one guy out.

A beautiful image, Sandy. Great lighting and those wonderful Sedona red rocks and blue sky are just fabulous together. Very nice comp and processing.

What a pretty place Sandy, I can see why there would be a lot of people around. Beautiful comp and color.

You shot this one from a nice viewpoint and so I really like the comp. The water looks great as well as the curvy clouds up there. The red feel a little aggressive to me, but I don't know the place. I would maybe move the red a hint towards orange and take out a little of the saturation on the top mountain.

Wow, eye popping color. Really nice comp as well. It appears a little soft on my monitor, but I bet a large print has a ton of impact.

Andres, the rocks really are red like this - that is the draw of this beautiful area.
Look up Sedona on the web to see the colors in other photos -

This isn't an easy place to capture and you did a very nice shot Sandy. The exposure speed on the water works well and the image has a painterly feel. My only suggestion is a slight desaturation of the reds under the water and on the cliffs - they seem just a tad strong. Great work! Michael

Must still be too cold for swimming! I've always wondered why there aren't more images of Sedona, and the surrounding area. It's such a beautiful place, illustrated by your image here. And yes the rocks there really are that red. When you are approaching from a distance, they stick out like a red beacon.

Sandy,
Beautiful image from the Sedona area. Didn't you post this a couple years ago? Maybe it was someone else. I recall this comp, but the image was brighter and perhaps even washed out or in harsher light. I was thinking you did a great job re-processing this, but I'm probably thinking of a different image. Anyway..... nice work.

Lon, it's similar to one a couple years ago, but with a different sky and slightly-different comp. Love this place in the spring when the water isfull !
