This is one of the less visited areas near Page,AZ. This was taken at lee's ferry near Marble canyon(on the way to the north rim). This is mainly a fishing place, but found some room for photography. Found these small rapids on this small section of the Colorado river.

Lovely color contrasts Chikku, and the lone boulder joins the water and rock well very nicely.

Really nice shot Cikku. I love the contrast between the rich, warm colors on the wall and the cool water color. As nice as the water is though, the wall really makes this for me. Large version is really nice.

Ditto on the above comments. I also like the pano presentation. I think it lends nice support to the presentation of the scene. Nice one.

Hi Chikku

The foreground rock is the key to get depth and helps the comp to be right, the pano format is also helpful.

I love the general tones and how contrasts the scene

Best regards

Chikku,

Love this one. I can only echo the comments about the lovely color combination. I also think the comp and narrow format work very well. Great work.

Really unique Chikku! I agree with the above, and love the contrast between the smooth bluish water and the sharp red rock.

Nice Chikku, I like the sharp detail in the wall contrasted with the smooth water. Perfectly exposed, too.

I really like the color in this, Chikku. To me this image is about contrasts--contrasts in color between warm and cool tones, and contrasts in texture between the smooth contours of the water and the hard edges of the rock. The panoramic composition emphasizes the flow of the water. Great work overall!!
