While I don't think of myself as a bird photographer, once in a while anyone can get lucky. Back in 2008 I was photographing migrating eagles near my home when this adult decided to dive in and give me a good look over before veering off. Made me realize how an unsuspecting fish or small mammal might feel just before death!
The original version does include the wingtips (just), but I prefer this crop for online presentation.
