We had a mixture of snow and sunshine early this morning and this chap was posing nicely in some heather recovering from fire.

Great colors and environment! Not sure about the thing on the right over the grass - I'd probably clone it out, myself.
Too bad picked the one spot where his sa were obscured to pose so nicely for you!

Looks great to me also Ian! I like the red bit above the eye as really the only saturated color in the scene. It really pops out!

Beautiful member of the grouse family, love the colors. Simple foreground and the rufus colors in the background makes for an excellent image. :toast:
