While exploring the lower elevations of North Cascade NP last Sunday I came across this little scene. To me it epitomized what life in the forests of this region are like. It was discovered on an ever moistened rock wall in deep shade. A Slice of Life in the North Cascades.

tim - lush greens and nice compo. reminds me a little of andreas resch's work in the vibrant green. could be crisper, though - have a look at andreas' work! there's also some odd colour in the water??

Attempted to get the blue cast out of the water. Any better?

Nice comp. These little scenes are always enjoyable to observe while hiking, but I've never captured one quite this well.

I think you have a nice comp, and a beautiful little scene here. I do wish it were a litte crisper.

What a pretty little scene Tim, love the moss covered rocks. Yup, you succeed with the second post. Very nice.

I love these moss scenes with all the lush greens. I also like the comp. Could not see the problem with the water color in the original post though.

This was a good find, Timothy. I like the variety in the waterfalls and the beautiful
greens.
