Infernal Sunrise

Basicaly just showing off a pretty sunrise here, since I was lacking any sort of FG I used a simple silhouette to accentuate this great sky. Would have loved something like a tree on the ridge to give the image more scale but alas.

Thank you for looking!

Tech: Canon 7d, 70-200 f4 IS @ f/8, iso 100 & 1/50

That sunset is intense. I like the decision to let the land go black, the contrast with the colours is even more striking.

Very nice! The image might benefit from a pano crop removing some of the darker part of the upper sky. But I really like the straightforward composition you chose here. Great shot, Jorne!

Sometimes, simplifying like this is the way to go. Love it, Jorne!

The sky is neat and the light incredible. Would be hard not to shoot this.

Beautiful sunrise, but the image lacks a central subject to really pull it together.

Jorne,

A glorious sunrise to be sure. Not much to critique really, although I think the UL quadrant is pretty empty - some crop variations could help with that. Otherwise, thanks for sharing the beautiful moment.
