Storms over a mountain range. The moon peaked out from the clouds for a moment.

I feel privileged to be the first to comment on this. This is definitely my favourite of all your images - and that says a lot! Words don't do this justice! As an aside, the left hand side is a little heavy on the darks, and perhaps the shadows could be brought out a little bit more there? Still, this is incredible.

I love the mysterious feel to this image and how the stream leads your gaze into the depths of the dark mountain range. Excellent!

Definitly one of the best images I've seen from you, adn thats saying a lot! Love the dark and mysterious mood created by the flowing clouds and purple colours. The moon and the stream are an added bonus! :toast:

Excellent shot! I like dark images if they are conveying a mood and not just poor exposure. You've captured a real sense of mystery here. The light peeking through the URC is a very cool element of the scene. Nice job.

kiwi high drama. very nice. the (sharpening) edges to the mts are a little distracting in this presentation.

This is a marvelous Image, what make an impact is the reflection in the water below, the moon/sun shining on the top right corner balancing the image, the mountains in the distance and the clouds hovering over them.

Agree with Christoph on shadows part. Anyhow well done.

Cheers

I haven't seen in a long time such a strong graphical and moody image. It would have been powerful without the moon too, but with the moon it's complete. Amazing work of art, Kah Kit!

What incredible compositions and light you come up with. This qualifies as a dreamscape, IMO.

This is incredible. The cloud motion with the silhouetted mountains and the line of water center stage leading the eye back is stunning. Excellent composition. Would have been superb without the moon but the addition of the moon sends this over the top in my opinion.

Kah,

This is fantastic! I love the stark contrast between the movement of the clouds vs. the sharp detail of that moon "peeking" out from behind the clouds. The reflection in the foreground channel really works to pull the eye in to the frame. Beautifully captured.

A beautiful image Kah Kit. I love the colors and cloud motion. The comp is also wonderful with the light and color reflected in the creek curving into the shot beautifully. The darkness adds lots of mood and mystery. Excellent.
